The Town of Stowe is pleased to announce that on June 5, 2010 the new Public Safety Facility will have an open house for it's official dedication.  The public will be invited to tour the facility and get to know the men and women in uniform who serve the town.  The Stowe Police, Stowe Fire, and Stowe Rescue Departments will be moving into the new building throughout the month of May.

The building is a giant leap forward from where we were.  There are many people who deserve recognition and thanks for making this happen, especially the voters who approved the bond vote.  As you tour the facility and grab a coffee and burger, say thanks to the Town Manager and the Stowe Fire, Police, and Rescue chiefs and personnel, all of whom were vital in the design and details and staying within the budget.

It takes an entire town to achieve a project of this magnitude and I want to personally thank all of you for your generosity, your perseverence, and your dedication to making Stowe a great place in which to work, live, and play.

We look forward to your participation in the upcoming grand opening festivities.  Watch for details on our website and in the Stowe Reporter.
